THE Estate Agents Council of (EAC) Zimbabwe has ordered the Net Seven Real Estate to stop trading.
In an advisory in the local newspapers, the Estate Agents Council said, "Members of the public are advised that Net Seven Real Estate of 14 Hellet Street, Masvingo and its branch situated at Room 402 Old Mutual Centre, Bulawayo have been ordered to stop trading. Anyone who wishes to do business with them may do so at own risk."
In a public notice issued in January, EAC said the order to stop trading was in terms of the Estate Agents Act Chapter 27:17.
EAC registrar Bennias Gweme said the council had received complaints of suspected fraud and prejudiced, from Net Seven clients and the suspension was to ensure that any abuse of trust funds was thoroughly investigated and stopped.
