SABC sports presenter Minnie Dlamini dumped Kaizer Chiefs captain Itumeleng Khune a couple of weeks back. But the reason for their break-up was not disclosed and sources indicated that Khune's wandering eye on other women was the reason for the split.

More reports have surfaced as to why Dlamini dumped Khune and it has something to do with another woman and threats.

According to the Sunday World, two close sources of Dlamini informed the publication that Dlamini found out that Khune was having an affair with Vanessa Masilo , who also works for the SABC.

A colleague of Dlamini also told the Sunday World that Masilo confessed them that she was having an affair with Khune claimed that Dlamini knew of the alleged affair between them.

Masilo also revealed to Dlamini's colleagues that she has connections at the SABC and threatened to use them in order to get Dlamini fired the Sunday World reported.

According to the Sunday World, Dlamini found out about this and decided not to confront Masilo as it might cause bad publicity for her if it's leaked to the media.

Dlamini's colleague source told the newspaper that Dlamini then decided to end her relationship with Khune as she realised that he was putting her career "at risk" by having an affair with someone who had threatened to have her fired.

Dlamini confirmed the reports in a written statement saying: "Yes. I have been informed by my employers of a lady who reportedly has an obsession with me. Personally, I don't know who she is and I don't care. My focus has been my growth within the world of sport and my exciting new summer ventures," she said.

The Sunday World managed to contact Masilo, but she claimed that she was in a meeting and would return the call. She never did and completely ignored more phone calls and text messages, the Sunday World reported.

Khune was also unavailable for comment according to the paper.
