City group to launch album

An all female gospel group, One way to Heaven, is set to launch their debut album today at Lobengula Brethren-in-Christ Church in Bulawayo.
The nine-track album that was recorded in the city recently will see gospel lovers having their first encounter with the singers when they belt out their stuff.
In an interview, the group spokesperson said their preparations were complete and they were calling for members of the public to come in their numbers and witness pure Zimbabwe gospel talent at its best.
"As a group we have done everything and we are promising gospel lovers a show to remember because we will certainly deliver to them as this is just the beginning and more is yet to come in the future," she said.
The show is set to start at 4pm in the afternoon so as to accommodate those who work and give them the opportunity to attend the event.
One Way to Heaven has performed in a number of churches in the city and are known for their melodious voices. The group is expected to leave gospel lovers spellbound and captivated at the launch of their album. The album was recorded at Dawn Studios in Bulawayo.
