The powered Progress Chipfumo left revellers clamoring for more sounds from mother land band in Mutorashanga Mashonaland West Province yesterday (Sunday).
Chipfumo was performing free of charge at Jongwe bar on New Year's Day.
His legions of fans from places around Mutorashanga thronged Jongwe bar in commemoration of New Year
People who spoke to Bulawayo24.com said they were refreshing the mind since 2016 was a difficult year economically.
"We are refreshing the mind as you know 2016 was a difficult year so we are hoping for a better 2017.but it seems promising because the performance by Progy here tells me something positive is on my way." Said Blessing Kamudyariwa aka Bango.
Another supporter from Banket said she travelled more than 80kilometres just to have fun and burying her2016 poverty.
I saw Progress's poster and travelled 80 kilometres just to burry my 2016 which was full of poverty but 2017 I claim it and by affording to come here it looks brighter," said Linda.
