Sungura musician Jacob Moyana will join Alick Macheso, Jah Prayzah and Beverly Sibanda for a Carnival gig set for May 23 at Ice and Fire Pamuzinda.
Dubbed Carnival Sungura Night, the gig will see Moyana performing his controversial songs such as "Munotidako" and "Tinonamatako".
Moyana said he was happy most promoters were beginning to appreciate his music.
"It is a milestone to my career because at least promoters now understand that my music is not mischievous," said Moyana.
Moyana promised fireworks at the show and vowed to leave a mark for his fans.
Show promoter Partson "Chipaz" Chimbodza said the show was meant to entertain people.
"The show is an opportunity for a diverse line up of artistes to showcase on one stage for a good cause. There is nothing bad in us having Moyana on the list," said Chipaz.
He said the gig comprised some of the best performers in Zimbabwe.
Raunchy dancer Beverly aka Bev has promised to deliver her best in song and dance after she made a U-turn on her conversion to God.
Jah Prazyah who recently rocked Harare International Festival of the Arts will be out to prove his mettle.
His latest album "Kumbumura Mhute" has been received with mixed feelings unlike the previous album "Tsviriyo" which was an instant hit.
Troubled sungura giant Macheso currently entangled in a nasty divorce from second wife Tafadzwa Mapako is expected to put his problems aside and ensure that fans have a great time at the show.
Ever since the trouble in the union was publicised Macheso has not been performing the song "Tafadzwa" which he penned during happy times with his wife of four-years.
Not surprisingly, Macheso has already penned another song which hints at his divorce.
In the song the musician narrates how he upgraded the lifestyle of a person who has since turned into a bitter pill in what many fans have understood as a direct reference to the opportunistic Mapako who seems bent on milking the musician dry.
