The Royal Destiny Gospel Group a music ministry based in the United Kingdom will on Friday be launching its single gospel track called Bako Rangu/ Isiphephelo Sami amid revelations the track will certainly thrill their fans.

In an interview the leader of the group Maria Rusike said Royal Destiny Gospel Group is ministering for God and is based in the UK though it has other members based in Zimbabwe.
She said they started the music in 2009 when they recorded the Album titled, Yizani.

"In 2013 we recorded the album titled uZuko, in 2014 we recorded the Album called,  Lord I Believe," Rusike said.

She said when they started the group they were only three of them namely, sisters Nonkumbulo Adonis, Maria Rusike who are existing co-founders and Kenny Mangena.

"We then incorporated other members and currently in the UK have eight members  and in Zimbabwe we also have eight members," she said.

"We come from a family of singers. We started music from a young age growing up singing hymns in church. We sang in the choir and youth groups."

Rusike said in their previous productions they composed songs titled, Ixilongo, Yizani, Njengo Daniel, Intsholo, uZuko, Idwala and You are Beautiful.

She identified the group members in UK as Maria Rusike, Nonkumbulo Adonis, Clayton Dube, Clarence Dube, Sinovuyo Rusike, Sanchia Rusike, Thando Rusike
and Grace Tshabangu.

In Zimbabwe group members were identified as Gift Moyo formerly Mahlupheka, Yolisa Dube, Mimi Precious Muchabaya, Blessing Masanga, Sibongiseni Adonis
Nomvuyo Adonis, Maudy Moyo and Tawanda Rodwell Magunde and the group is led by  Maria Rusike.

Rusike said their single track marked a period of growth for the group spiritually and everyone who participated in it related a personal testimony to it.

"We have had a tremendous response from those who have sampled the single, and have no doubt that the song is going to be a hit as it is already a hit to those who have listened to it," the Ecstasy Rusike said.

"Above all we expect the song to transform people's lives.  Bako in this case is not actually a physical place but the Grace of God and in Him we should all have a resting place. Somewhere to hide when things are bad and a resting place even when things are going well."

She said the song is a living testimony and the (brain child) of our Mentor  and Coach Bob Ivan Harrison Ndlovu.

"Bako Rangu is a combination of three languages; Shona; Ndebele and English," she said.

Rusike said the challenge they have is that they have one group in the UK and the other in Zimbabwe.

"There are challenges when to produce as it is not easy for everyone to be in the studio with the producer. The other challenge is committing to time and schedules especially in the UK," Rusike said.

She also said they are also launching the same single on line as it will be available to purchase and download . She said for the day of the launch they have offered  free download to those who will request via Whatsapp numbers 001 682 222 2284/ 00263 77 350 8124/ 0044 759618900.

"There will be copies of the single available at certain locations which we will give, She said. "When we started the group was just a gospel one and we re branded and revisited our original vision to mentor artists depending on their talents. We also have a charitable side when we support orphans in different countries," Rusike said.
