While Leonard Zhakata was launching his album at Harare International Conference Centre, Mukudzei Mukombe aka Jah Prayzah was having his birthday party at Big Apple, a few kilometres from HICC.

The venue was packed making it difficult for merrymakers to have free movement. The musician turned 29 last week and it was time for him to celebrate with his fans.

Fans could not get enough of his new song "Tsotsi" from his upcoming album "Mudhara Vachauya".

The songs has lyrics "Ibva munzira ndidarike Soja ndisimuke nyangwe ukandizvonda han'a naniko" that sent the crowd into delirium.

Dressed in all-white, the musician played songs from last previous album giving music lovers an exciting evening.

Band manager Keen Mushapaidze said it was good that they were getting such a massive response.

"It seems the name of the upcoming album has created hype in itself. Some of the songs played here have been accepted by the fans," he said.

He said they are happy to have made a deal that will see lucky fans winning Toyota Vits for both Harare and Bulawayo shows where the album will be launched next month.

"We are trying to be innovative and as well as giving back to our fans. So the draw will be an added advantage for our fans," he said.

Mushapaidze is optimistic that the album will be an answer to the musician's call to break the international market.

"His wish is to penetrate the international market and this album is likely to make it," he said.

"There is need for perfection when it comes to an album that you want to break on to the international market. We are having limited shows because we want him to rest as well give his best in the studio," said Mushapaidze.
