Cairo - Militants in Libya on Saturday blew up a pipeline that transports oil from a southern field to the eastern city of Tobruk on the Mediterranean, local media reported.
Oil employee Issa al-Manfa reported the attack on the al-Sarir pipeline to Libyan news site al-Wasat.
The pipeline transports around 180 000 barrels per day, according to al-Wasat.
It runs between al-Sarir oilfield to al-Hariga export terminal in Tobruk.
No-one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Gunmen linked to the Islamic State extremist group on Friday attacked the al-Bahi oilfield in central Libya, according to al-Wasat
Militias, backing rival governments and two parliaments in Libya, have battled to control the country's oil facilities.
The unrest has forced several countries to evacuate their citizens and diplomats.
