Hexco results out, pass rate improves by 80%

Higher Education Examination Council (HEXCO) results for October and November examinations are out and there is an 80 percent improvement from last year's 77 percent.
Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development permanent secretary Dr Washington Mbizvo yesterday said candidates should start collecting the results from all regional HEXCO centres and Polytechnics from December 23.
"On behalf of the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development, I wish to thank the lecturers, students, assessors and examiners including all stakeholders involved in the administration of the national examination system and in the teaching and learning processes,
"Indeed there is a remarkable improvement in student performance compared to last year," he said.
