Kelly Khumalo opens up about her love for Senzo Meyiwa

Singer Kelly Khumalo has opened up about her baby girl and her love for Orlando Pirates star Senzo Meyiwa.

In an interview with True Love magazine, Kelly speaks highly of baby Thingo and daddy Senzo.

When asked if she had any hope for a future with Senzo, she said: "I know I'm going through a rough time, but one thing I know is that I love him. I don't know what will happen tomorrow.

"Things happen and sometimes we need to make hard decisions," said Kelly.

She also revealed that she didn't have any baby fat during her pregnancy even though she ate a lot.

She told True Love: "Thingo weighed 2,9kg at birth and the last time we went to the doctor, she weighed 4,23kg.

"I'm not breastfeeding her. I never did - even with my son, Christian."

Kelly describes the birth of Thingo as coming after a storm because a lot has been said about her and Senzo.

The gossip reached the point where Kelly was accused of stealing Senzo from his wife.

She said: "I still maintain that he didn't declare his marital status to me. He gave me no chance to decide whether I wanted to go out with him – married or not.

"And she, not able to punish her man, blames me, a stranger," said Kelly.

She added: "I was in a position where I didn't know where I was headed.

"And I felt Senzo was having difficulties in deciding which woman he wanted in his life.

"I was at a place where I was ready to let him go. I'm happy with my kids and career," said Kelly.
