There is a rumour that Dynamos' "new signing" Elisha Leesho Mubatapasango Muroiwa missed what could have been his first training at his new team.

Surprising enough, it is reported that the player chose to travel to Bulawayo where he arrived late for Bosso's training.

A reliable source said, "For the record after impressing during trials the last two weeks Elisha was shortlisted to start training with Bosso seniors today which he did together with three others."

Elisha Muroiwa is a central defender and is aged 25. He finished his studies at Prince Edward in 2007.

He has been at Northern Region Division One side Twalumba for three and half years playing as a central defender.

The defender has been enjoying good form this season and thus he attracted attention of premiership big Giants in Dynamos and Highlanders.

Dynamos thought they had beaten Highlanders on signing the young talend on the signature of the no-nonsense defender.

Tapiwa Dephistara also joined from Chiredzi FC.

Bosso were set to unveil their new acquisition on Tuesday as they seek to bolster the squad ahead of the second round of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) matches.

Bosso are searching for replacements following the departure of Milton Ncube, Peter Moyo, Kuda Mahachi while Khumbulani Banda is on the verge of joining Absa PSL side Maritzburg United.

Bosso roped in Welcome Ndiweni, Charles Sibanda, Joel Ngodzo, Valentine Ndaba, Felix Chindungwe, Rahman Kutsanzira and goalkeeper Njabulo Nyoni at the beginning of the season.

Highlanders lead the standings with 30 points while ZPC Kariba, Dynamos and Caps United all follow on 27 points going into this weekend's matches. Highlanders will be away to Bantu Rovers on Saturday at Barbourfields
