Woman gangs up with brother to 'discipline' hubby

A DARING woman allegedly locked her husband up in a room before inviting her brother to come and beating him up.

The State alleges that Msainwa Ncube had a misunderstanding with his wife Nomsa Mombe and she left the matrimonial home with household property to Emthunzini where her brother Ndaba Nkomo stays.

On September 13 at around 9AM, Ncube went to Nkomo's house to ask for a 20 litre bucket.

Upon arrival, Mombe locked him inside the house and called Nkomo who came and assaulted him. Nkomo assaulted Ncube with fists and kicked him on the head with booted feet.

He sustained injuries and he was referred to hospital where he was treated and a medical report produced.

Nkomo yesterday appeared before Western commonage magistrate Tancy Dube charged with physical abuse.

He pleaded guilty and was remanded out of custody to October 9. The court will use the time to compile Nkomo's previous convictions as he is not a first offender.
