MABVUKU-TAFARA MP James Maridadi has said the electricityu problems currently rocking zZimbabwe are because of government mismanagement.
Speaking in parliament Maridadi said in 2005, the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe issued a statement and in that statement they said, 75% of the problem that we have in this economy are as a result of corruption and not anything else- 75%, that is on record.
"Those that have brains to understand and those that have eyes and are able to read can go and google and see that statement that was issued by Gideon Gono, the Governor of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe," he said.
"We have a problem of electricity. The problem of electricity has nothing to do with anybody. It has everything to do with mismanagement and failure by Government to put money into the electricity supply industry. Our industry is operating at 25% of capacity."
