A 23-year-old conductor landed himself in trouble when he allegedly failed to regulate his sexual zest by inserting his fingers into the womanhood of a student who had boarded his commuter omnibus and fondling her breasts.

The sexual predator, Donald Hloniphani Ncube, from Entumbane suburb in Bulawayo has been dragged to court charged with Indecent Assault as defined in section 67 of the Criminal Law Codification and Reform Act chapter 9:23.

Ncube pleaded not guilty to the charge and Bulawayo magistrate Tinashe Tashaya remanded him out of custody to Friday for the commencement of a trial.

It is the  State's case that on an unknown date to the prosecutor Nkathazo Dlodlo, sometime in June 2016, the complainant Sandra Mangoma boarded Ncube's commuter omnibus at Pick n Pay Hyper  terminus going to Mzilikazi Craft Centre where she attends her lessons.

It is said that on the fateful day, Mangoma did not disembark at her drop off point as the commuter omnibus crew promised to drop her on their way back since she was seated at the back.

On their way back the complainant was the only passenger left in the commuter omnibus and the conductor temporarily left his duty of touting for customers and visited her at the back seat.

"While at the back seat Ncube allegedly fondled the breasts and buttocks of the complainant at the same time forcibly inserting his fingers in her privates demanding a "quickie" without her consent.

"The complainant did not tell anyone about the matter until her relative Constance Zengeni noticed that she was no longer going to Mzilikazi Craft Centre for lessons. When pressed to the corner by Zengeni on why she was no longer attending her lessons Mangoma revealed that she was shy to face Ncube who had humiliated her," said Dlodlo.

This led to Ncube's manhunt and he was spotted at Pick n Pay Hyper market by the complainant and his brother Nyasha Mangoma who subsequently apprehended him and handed him over to Mzilikazi Police Station.
