CSCJF takes Constitutional Amendment Act No. 3 civic education to communities

The Civic Society and Churches Joint Forum (CSCJF) has launched a nationwide community outreach programme to educate Zimbabweans on Constitutional Amendment Act No. 3, with trained facilitators now engaging residents through face‑to‑face meetings and awareness sessions.
The rollout follows the training of provincial coordinators, who have begun implementing civic education activities aimed at equipping citizens with accurate information on the constitutional changes and encouraging informed public participation.
In a statement, CSCJF said the initiative is designed to ensure communities receive factual, accessible and inclusive information on Constitutional Amendment Act No. 3. “The Civic Society and Churches Joint Forum has officially rolled out its community outreach programme on Constitutional Amendment Act No. 3, taking civic education directly to the people,” the organisation said.
CSCJF said trained facilitators are now in communities conducting direct engagements through meetings, discussions and awareness sessions. “The initiative is aimed at providing accurate information, encouraging informed participation, and ensuring citizens have a clear understanding of the Constitutional Amendment Act No. 3,” the forum said.
The organisation added that the programme forms part of its broader commitment to promoting civic awareness and ensuring communities across Zimbabwe have access to factual and inclusive constitutional education. “The programme forms part of CSCJF’s broader commitment to promoting civic awareness and ensuring that communities across Zimbabwe have access to factual, accessible and inclusive constitutional education,” the statement said.
