BCC Internship opportunities

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES: BULAWAYO WATER AND SEWERAGE SERVICES IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
The Government of Zimbabwe (GoZ) has received financing from the African Development Bank (AfDB) for the Bulawayo Water and Sewerage Services Improvement Project [BWSSIP]. In its contribution to creating Jobs for Youth and equipping them with skills, the Bulawayo City Council avails internship opportunities for attachment within the BWSSIP project.
The project shall support up to six internship positions, [50% of whom will be female]. These internship positions are meant to equip and provide youth with exposure to professional level skills. The interns will be paid a small compensation on a monthly basis.
The Bulawayo City Council invites recent unemployed graduates from universities or institutions of higher learning, to indicate their interest in participating in the internship program in the following fields, Civil Engineering (1), Electro-Mechanical (1), Procurement (1), Finance (1), Information Technology (1) and Social Sciences (1). The internship shall run for a period of 12 months per the interns positions.
Interested candidates must send their expressions of interest along with their proof of qualifications, highlighting areas of preference and letters of recommendation from reputable sources to the address below not later than January 22, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. and must be specifically labelled "Expression of Interest for Internship Attachments".
