Talks between Zanu-PF, expelled trio drag

The ruling party is still engaged in talks to bring back Didymus Mutasa, Rugare Gumbo and Jabulani Sibanda who were dismissed from the ruling party in 2014 for undermining then president, Robert Mugabe's authority.
In the wake of Mugabe's ouster in November last year, Mujuru and Gumbo have expressed their desire to re-join Zanu PF, with the Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association (ZNLWVA) and the Zanu PF youth league gingerly pushing to have them readmitted into the party.
ZNLWVA secretary-general and a member of the ruling party's politburo, Victor Mutemadanda said that emissaries have been dispatched to Gumbo and Mutasa, adding that Zanu PF's supreme decision-making organ n between congresses have previously discussed this issue.
