Missing teacher found dead

A-55-YREA-OLD Chisumbanje teacher who went missing last week was found dead in the Sangwe area of Chiredzi.
Chipinge district police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Blessing Kadzuraumera confirmed the discovery of Samson Mboma's body in Sangwe area under Chief Gudo, in Chiredzi.
Mboma was stationed at Takwirira High School in Chisumbanje.
"Yes I can confirm the discovery of the body of Samson Mboma an Agriculture teacher at Takwirira High school. He has been missing since last week and his body was found by a villager Maka Nduna, of Machona village, when she was fetching some firewood," he said.
Mboma was last seen leaving the school entrance gate heading towards Save River and did not report for duty prompting the school authorities to make a missing person report.
The now deceased relatives together with other villagers tried to search for Mboma but all was in vain until his body was found in a state of decomposition along the bed of Save River in Gudo area.
"Investigations are underway and the body of Mboma was taken to Chipinge hospital for post mortem," said Ass Insp Kadzuraumera.
