FORMER Highlanders Captain Honest Moyo is believed to be searching for greener pastures in the neighboring countries after parting ways with the Bulawayo giants.
Bosso announced Moyo's departure last Friday saying the 27-year-old has decided to look for new challenges beyond borders.
Moyo, who came from Bosso's junior ranks, was among the players who were dragging on extending their stay at Babourfields.
The defender is being linked with moves to South Africa, Botswana and Zambia in his search for a new club and further his playing career.
The club stated that he believes his work at Highlanders was exemplary enough to leave an impression on the youngsters who are coming up the system and they are bound to do great work.
"He believes the younger players have matured & now ready to take up responsibility and drive the club forward," a statement read.
Highlanders believe Moyo did justice in serving the club and they want him to do well in his next quest.
"He is the product of our junior structures and he served the Club well.
"The club has nothing but admiration for the departing professional and exemplary captain. We wish him all the best in his new life challenges."
His departure comes after former vice captain Gabriel Nyoni who left for CAPS United, he was their joint top goal scorer with Newman Sianchali.
Bosso have, however, managed to pin down other key players including defenders Peter Muduhwa and Tendai Ndlovu.
Mudhuwa was heavily linked with an exit but is believed to have recommitted his future with Highlanders.
Moyo was part of the COSAFA Castle Cup winning team in 2018 and is a loss in the leadership department of Bosso.
