Zimbabwean wins UK council elections

A Zimbabwean has won a seat in the UK council elections.

Thabiso Mabhena is the new councillor for Blackheath Ward in Sandwell Birmingham.

He polled 726 votes with the Conservatives coming in second with 620 votes.
