Like a lot of the country, we have been clinging to the Gems for light in these cold, dark, Zesa-less times. And the netball team has not disappointed!
The Gems qualified for the second stage of the Vitality Netball World Cup after winning against Sri Lanka and Northern Ireland and finishing second in Group A, just behind Australia.
Furthermore, Zimbabwe's Joice Takaidza is the tournament's top goal scorer so far. The World Cup ends on Sunday and we know our athletes will continue to make us proud no matter what. Go Gems Go!
