ZRP police officers pounced on Fex farm villagers in Mvurwi yesterday after their Toyota Revo vehicle's windscreen was stoned and shuttered.
Sources familiar with the incident said the suspect was arrested after police and soldiers surrounded the farm in search of the culprit.
"Knowledge Luzendu was arrested yesterday after he allegedly stoned the windscreen of a police vehicle that was carrying police officers who were on Covid 19 operation after 8 pm," the source said.
"Police officers together with the Army pounced heavily on the farm and everyone testified that it was Luzende who committed the offense."
Police sources confirmed the arrest of Luzendu and he is set to appear in court soon.
