A 42-YEAR-OLD Glendale man accused of stealing six irrigation pipes from First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa's Angel of Hope Foundation has been sentenced to 3 years behind bars by a Concession magistrate.
The pipes, stolen from Protein farm in Glendalewere, were valued at $1200.

Prosecutors told the court that on July 22, the Chinguwo pounced on Mnangagwa's farm during the night and stole six main pipes.
Chinguwo and an accomplice were spotted by Mnangagwa's employee, who teamed up with other villagers and apprehended them, while they were trying to move their loot out of the farm.
The villagers affected a citizen's arrest on them and subsequently surrendered them to the police.
