Violent youths attack teachers at night

A group of violent youths allegedly pounced at Fiona Secondary school in Chinhoyi on Sunday night and assaulted several teachers.
The gang used sticks, stones and catapults to break the teachers quarters and assaulted several of them.
One of the victims who declined to be named for ethical reasons told Bulawayo24.com that the youths attacked them and fled when villagers came to their rescue.
"A gang of seven to eight youths pounced on us and broke into our houses around 7pm demanding to see teachers a number of us mostly women were left injured as they threw stones at some of us and used sticks to assault us," explained the source.
However, the matter was reported at Chinhoyi Central police station and investigations are underway.
