Plumtree Hospital a death trap

Plumtree General Hospital has reportedly become a death trap as patients lose their lives while waiting to be served.
Residents claim that the poor treatment by the Hospital staff has become so dire to an extent that taking a patient in emergency time has become so risky.
Over the past week, two patients reportedly died at the institution without being are attended to by the staff.
One resident narrated a very sad story to this publication.
"I came withy, my old lady, here. She was my landlord and she developed a breathing problem at night.
I took her to the hospital and upon arrival, I was interrogated with a lot of questions. I tried to tell the nurses that it was an emergency case and the patient was in the car but the nurses would have none of. "After a while, I tried to take her from the car she breathed her last".
Another resident weighed in saying he lost his wife during delivery purely by negligence by the nurses.
"My brother I was forced to carry my wife to the bed and nurses refused to even offer any kind of help till I lost her. I am heartbroken".
Efforts to get a comment from the Hospital management were fruitless as their phones were not reachable.
Cases of illtreatment of patients by hospital management across the country has been on the increase.
A few years ago, the first lady took Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals by surprise after she disguised herself as a patient to witness first hand information on the illtreatment.
