POLICE in Bulawayo yesterday said prominent lawyer Norman James Pattison (54), who was found dead at his home in Bradfield on Tuesday, was holding a gun at the time, raising suspicion that he may have shot himself.
Provincial police spokesperson Inspector Abednego Ncube told journalists that: "We confirm that yesterday (on Tuesday) a 54-year-old man was found dead at his place holding a gun with his right hand pointing at his head. He was left by his wife at home around 10am going to town and when she came back, she found her lifeless husband lying in a pool of blood. Police were called and attended the scene.
