CCC MPs ordered to stop wearing yellow ties in Parliament

New CCC Members of Parliament have been ordered to stop wearing yellow neckties as they are a colour of their political party.
The drama started on Tuesday when ZANU PF MPs protested against opposition MPs coming to the august House dressed in alleged party regalia.
But Speaker of the National Assembly Jacob Mudenda quashed the objections, saying there was nothing amiss since the CCC members' attire had no party symbol.
In a twist of events, the CCC Secreatary General Charlton Hwende posted on Twitter that, "Bizarre indeed !! Later on the speaker ruled that we should stop wearing yellow neckties."
Former Cabinet Minister Professor Jonathan urged the party to take the Speaker to Court arguing that the ruling was illegal but CCC Treasurer David Coltart said, "Whilst I would have thought this the right approach under Dumbutshena or Gubbay now it is a waste of time and resources."
Moyo weighed on his suggestion saying the party should not put trust on individuals but on institutions.
"I hear you but institutions and traditions are not built by picking and choosing your good guys; rather you do it by muddling through and staying the course, no matter who is in charge until everyone gets it right, at last. Banking too much on personalities is counterproductive!" Said Moyo.
In South Africa EFF members caused a stir when they first arrived in parliament in 2014, wearing red overalls, hard hats and gumboots. A year later a meeting of the National Assembly ruled in favour of the EFF wearing red overalls in Parliament.
