Front for Economic Emancipation in Zimbabwe (FEEZ) has threatened to protest over the murder of Elvis Nyathi by South African vigilant group in Diepsloot.
In that statement yesterday FEEZ said, "As a party we take this opportunity to call upon all Zimbabweans that it is high time that we set our differences and come together to peacefully protest and our voice concerns with the South African embassy in Harare on Wednesday 13th of April".
The party also extended their condolence message to the Nyathi family.
"We express our sincere condolences to the Nyathi family on their sad loss and this gruesome murder of a Zimbabwean national is unfortunate and absurd. It is actually one of the many murders of foreign nationals that have been going to South Africa for a very long time.
It is worrisome how a group of people can take the law into their hands and start harassing foreign nationals in a country that has a whole police services and home affairs department that can actually carry out it's duties without anyone losing their property or lives".
FEEZ further stated that," As Pan Africanist Movement that believes in the oneness of Africa and Africans, we see this as one of the many organised and sponsored acts by those who do not want to see the unity of Africans.
In light of the protest Tsenengamu said," We have notified the police about the Wednesday peaceful march and protest and we await response. We cant fold our hands and be spectators when our own are being murdered an burnt.
So we urge all Zimbabweans to be part of this peaceful march and protest intiated by FEEZ".
Tsenengamu was among 14 political activists listed on police wanted list over the foiled July 31 in 2020.
He went into hidingafter police launched a manhunt for him and other opposition activists ahead of the July 31 protests that was thwarted by the police and military.
