ZANU PF central committee member and self proclaimed Tsholotsho declaration mastermind Believe Gaule has been reported to the party's National Chairperson and secretary for legal affairs in their capacity as members of the National Disciplinary committee, who are likely to institute disciplinary action.

Gaule was reported to the party's legal department over a leaked audio in which he is heard telling a journalist to write a story claiming that Vice President Chiwenga's faction was losing ground in Matebeleland North.

A ZANU PF member from Mashonaland Central wrote a 10 point letter to the secretary for legal affairs raising issues and points on which the party has to discipline Gaule .

The scathing letter cites 2 standard newspaper articles and a Bulawayo 24 article as evidence against Believe Gaule. One of the articles contains a link to a leaked audio.

In the audio Gaule is heard claiming that he has the support of Speaker of Parliament Jacob Mudenda, Minister Sithembiso Nyoni and ZANU PF National Youth league secretary for security Thubelihle Ncube. Minister Sithembiso Nyoni came out in the Standard newspaper and distanced herself from Believe Gaule.

This is the first time that the party will act on those claiming that Vice President Constantino Chiwenga is leading a faction seeking to wrestle power from President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Chiwenga has repeatedly called for unity in the party and for the party to rally behind President Mnangagwa.
