The first incident took place along Grayville Road near Arlington Court, Ascot, in Bulawayo. Three unidentified suspects, who were traveling in a white Toyota Runx, carried out a daring robbery. According to the police report, the victim was a shop manager driving a Toyota Belta vehicle, and the criminals managed to intercept and rob the individual of a significant sum of money.
The suspects made off with a staggering US$29,000 in cash, which was stored in the victim's vehicle's boot. In this incident, the thieves managed to escape with a significant amount of currency, including US$10,610, 1,700 Zambian Kwacha, ZAR 2,500.00, 50 Pounds, and 200,000 Tanzanian Shillings. The suspects also made away with other valuables, including a laptop, four cellphones, five pairs of tennis shoes, and two school bags.
