Zimbabwe has secured the international allegiance of teenage midfield sensation Sean Fusire, who has pledged his future to the Warriors, snubbing England in the process.
The 19-year-old Sheffield Wednesday starlet made the commitment official at the Zimbabwe Embassy in the United Kingdom, in the presence of his proud father and ZIFA's Diaspora Projects Officer, Marshall Gore.
"We are thrilled to announce that Sean Fusire has officially committed to represent Zimbabwe," Gore confirmed in a Facebook post, marking a major coup for Zimbabwe's football revival project.
Fusire, who joined the Sheffield Wednesday academy at just nine years old, is considered one of the club's brightest prospects.
