A Chitchem security guard allegedly introduced a workmate he has been staying with to sexual lessons known as chinamwali and then caressed and sodomised him.
Abraham Chipuriro (40) of Unit H was staying with his 21-year-old victim between December last year and January this year. The two are stationed at Delta Beverages in Chitungwiza.
Chipuriro on September 11 at around 9pm reportedly told his workmate about the chinamwali culture when they were about to sleep and volunteered to teach him, claiming he was trained as a teenager.
During the same night, the court heard that Chipuriro started caressing and fondling the defenceless fellow guard and only desisted from sodomy when the young man screamed.
Chipuriro continued to caress and fondle the man on several occasions. On September 11, he allegedly forced himself on his victim who woke up, packed his belongings and escaped to a friend's house.
He stayed there for some days before Chipuriro followed him and took his belongings. The matter was reported to the police leading to his arrest. Appearing before Chitungwiza magistrate Mr Kudakwashe Jarabini, Chipuriro denied indecent assault charges.
He was remanded out of custody to today (Monday) for trial. Mr Edmond Ndambakuwa prosecuted.
