Zanu-PF's ageing youth leader defies calls to quit

Zanu-PF secretary for Youth Absolom Sikhosana has branded as imperialist machinations on calls that he steps down to make way for a young leader.

Sikhosana, now aged 61 said he will not relinquish his post, saying all who are calling for his stepping down are bent on destabilising the 51 year old liberation movement.

The Zanu-PF youth conference begins in Harare tomorrow.
