President Robert Mugabe has told western countries to stop churning hate crusades against him as ‘he was not a wizard who kills people'.

Speaking at the installation ceremony of two traditional leaders in Zvimba, former provincial administrator for Harare Alfred Tome as chief Bepere and Johannes Kangamuti Dzonami at Murombedzi growth point yesterday, Mugabe said some western leaders were even afraid of mingling with him at international meetings.

"Itsigiro yenyu inoita kuti ini nekamhumhu kangu aka ndobva ndatyisa.VananaObama vese ava mufunge vanoti vese maleaders angauye asi Mugabe hatimude….ko munyama here wangu?

"Kareko taiti kana tikaenda kumeeting vakaziva kuti ndiriko, vaingonzvenga, vachiuya pandiri vachingonzvenga…handiurayi munhu handisi muroyi…itsigiro yamakandipa. (American president Barak Obama invites all world leaders at meetings in USA, but I am the only one who he does not extend an invitation too…I wonder if I am cursed.

"In the past, we would attend international meetings and some western leaders try all means to avoid me….I am not a wizard who kills people," said Mugabe.

Mugabe hailed all weather friend China for its continuous support to Zimbabwe's endeavour of turning around the country's economy.

"We came back from China two weeks ago and the Chinese pledged to support us in agriculture and road construction programmes.

"Vaifunga kuti hatina shamwari, vachitiisira zvirango pamusana pekuti takatandanisa mabhunu muno, ngavaone kuti haiwa, tichine shamwari.Anyway shamwari dzedu kunyanya vanhu vedu.

(The western countries thought that we don't have friends, they imposed sanctions on us protesting our land reform exercise…in China we have a real friend, above all the Zimbabwean masses are our friends," said Mugabe.

Turning to issues in Mashonaland West province, President Mugabe called on Zanu-PF provincial chairman, Themba Mliswa to work in harmony with others.

"We have heard that there were disturbances in the province…that Mliswa was invloved. We would like to implore leaders here to be united and work together. We don't want to hear stories where people from outside resettle themselves without the blessing of the chairman," said Mugabe in apparent reference to recent clash between Mliswa party youths.

Last week, a meeting chaired by Mliswa in Kadoma to resolve a land dispute was reportedly disrupted by a group of youths led by a war veretan.

President Mugabe also urged the party provincial leadership to ensure that Zanu-PF wrestles back Chinhoyi constituency seat-the only parliamentary seat won by the opposition party, MDC T.

"It's unfortunate that Chinhoyi, the provincial capital of the province is the only seat where we lost. I wonder whether white colonialists left their spirits there. Maybe Chinyangwa (Philip)( who represented Zanu-PF in Chinhoyi) thought that the fact that he was a Gushungo, he would automatically be elected…no that's not politics, power comes from the people,"he said.

Meanwhile, Mugabe warned resettled black farmers who are subletting their farms to former commercial white farmers to stop their actions.

"If its contract farming with well established and known companies…we have no problem with that. But we say no to sub contract former white farmers. The British must go back to England….inga ndege dzavapo dzinosvika ikoko," he said.

Turning to the installation ceremony, Mugabe urged the two chiefs to be humble and respect their subjects.

Earlier on Mugabe commissioned construction vehicles donated to the Zvimba community from Ngezi Platinum as part of its support to the community share ownership scheme.
