Mafikizolo and Zahara Zimbabwe bound

Entertainment Reporter After a successful show in Harare in December last year, South African group Mafikizolo returns to the capital for another show with Zahara on March 6.
The SA musicians will be supported by Jah Prayzah and Pah Chihera at the gig that takes place at the Harare International Conference Centre.
Mafikizolo rocked Harare in December when they shared the stage with Oliver Mtukudzi, Alexio and Tocky Vibes.
The venue was oversubscribed and there was chaos as people jostled to get into the packed venue.
The group delivered a polished act, and so did Mtukudzi and Kawara. That was the night when Tocky Vibes lost his footing despite coming to the gig with the man-of-the-moment tag. Tocky delivered a dull act.
But this time Mafikizolo, accompanied by Zahara, shares the stage with a different combination of local acts.
Jah Prayzah is on top of his game while Pah Chihera is on a mission to prove that she is not a one-hit-wonder.
Zahara has performed at the HICC before and she made Zimbabwe her second home with a string of performances in Harare and Bulawayo in 2013.
On all visits, Zahara left lasting impressions and this should be a welcome return for the "Loliwe" hitmaker.
Simmad Entertainment, which brought Mafikizolo last year, is organising the upcoming show.
Simba Madziva of Simmad Entertainment said they had learnt a lot from mistakes made with security at Mafikizolo show and they will ensure a smooth event.
"We apologise for the chaos and inconvenience at Mafikizolo show. Twice the expected number of fans turned up and we were ill prepared. We have now learnt how to handle such events," said Madziva.
"We will have six entry points and there will not be many demarcations. We will charge $15 for upstairs part and $25 for the downstairs arena. We will have an electronic system to check tickets and doors will open two hours before the show. We are looking forward to a smooth event."
