Mugabe leaves for Mali

President Robert Mugabe has left the country for Bamako at the invitation of Mali's President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita.
President Mugabe, who is the African Union Chairperson, will witness the signing of a peace deal on Friday.
He was seen off at the Harare International Airport by Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa, Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet Dr Misheck Sibanda, service chiefs and other senior government officials.
The West African country of Mali is expected to finally enjoy peace after Tuareg separatist rebels agreed to sign a peace deal with the Malian government.
The signing ceremony will be held on Friday the 15th of May in the Malian capital, Bamako.
The President is accompanied by Foreign Affairs Minister Simbarashe Mumbengegwi and Presidential spokesperson George Charamba.
