The Zimbabwe Association of Funeral Assurers is seeking Government to reduce duty charged on hearses and other burial equipment to enhance service delivery.
He said members need equipment in the form of motor vehicles, buses, coldrooms and other burial equipment which they are finding difficult to purchase due to high import duties.
ZAFA president Edward Gomba said the industry was hoping the Government would put in place policy measures to allow the funeral sector to grow without increasing compliance requirements.
