Wounded Dembare face Triangle

DYNAMOS coach Paulo Jorge Silva is back in the spotlight this afternoon as the Glamour Boys go out in search of a positive result that should bring some warmth into their dressing room following disturbances in midweek that left him sitting on a final warning.
Silva was not keen to discuss about the game yesterday and the pressure on the expatriate coach is understandable, especially after the Glamour Boys had lost their opening match.
The short-tempered Portuguese mentor, who has been grabbing negative headlines because of his violent disposition, was summoned by the club's management after he was involved in yet another altercation during a friendly match with Division One side Gunners on Wednesday.
Silva clashed with Prophet Magaya's security details and the coach needs to put the tensions behind him ahead of the game against one of his predecessors David Mandigora, who is now the Triangle coach. DeMbare started the season on the downside after losing 3-0 to reigning champions Chicken Inn in Bulawayo.
"We talked about the match at training. I cannot be happy with the result (against Chicken Inn) and nobody is happy, but more focus is needed in the next game. "It is a long season and we only lost one game but nobody wants to lose and a 3-0 margin was just too much.
"But this weekend I will be playing at home in front of my fans and I believe we will win. I need to make changes after we conceded three goals and my player (Richard Kawondera) got a red card so that is automatically another change," said Silva.
Skipper Augustine Mbara missed last week's tie because of sickness and should be available for selection although the technical team was not 100 percent satisfied with his fitness. Striker, Kawondera, will not be able to face his former paymasters as he has been ruled out because of the sending off in last weekend's game against Chicken Inn.
However, his former teammates at Triangle Tichaona Chipunza and Jimmy Dzingai, should be available for selection. The presence of Gift Muzadzi in the Dynamos set up should also be of crucial importance as the goalkeeper coach is familiar with Triangle from his working experience with the Lowveld-based team which lasted until the end of the 2014 season.
Silva could be forced to cast his net wider to bolster his side going forward by looking at players like Brett Amidu, Carlos Rusere and even some of the promising juniors who did not play a part last week.
Dynamos' frontline still look lightweight after they failed to lure top strikers during the off-season and the departure of Takesure Chinyama has worsened things. Rodreck Mutuma and Farai Mupasiri are expected to lead the hunt for goals.
Triangle are in positive spirits as they won their opening match of the season when they edged Harare City 1-0 last week courtesy of a strike from Courage Denias. The Lowveld side is looking to continue on the progressive path as familiar faces return to Rufaro this afternoon in the mould of former Dynamos player and coach Mandigora and defender Guthrie Zhokinyi. "He might play. I can't tell at the moment but his inclusion will be determined by his performance during training.
"After such a lengthy absence, I think he has done extremely well to gel with his teammates," said Mandigora. Mandigora remains modest although he may have a point or two to prove when facing the club that gave him a name as a player and later as coach.
"I am enjoying life in the Lowveld. I love the place and the fans are passionate about their team and I want Triangle to be among the best. "I am not hurt by leaving Dynamos and the game tomorrow (today) will not be a grudge match. All I need is a positive result. Every good coach wants to achieve something with a team.
"Dynamos are in the league like us and we will just treat it like any other game. I do not have emotions. If you leave a club you will join another one. "I am not thinking about them but all I need is to feed my family because my bread is being buttered here (Triangle)," said Mandigora.
