Businessman in court for attempted murder

Blessed Huni (31), a prominent Mpandawana businessman has been dragged to court for attempted murder after he severely assaulted a man he accused of having allegedly bedded each of his two wives.
Huni runs Huni Bottle Store at Mpandawana and is understood to be into buying and selling of residential stands in the same growth point.
His father is also said to have been a businessman at Mpandawana but has since relocated to the UK.
Huni allegedly assaulted Colic Mundoga when they met at Emagumeni Nite Club at Mpandawana.
The attack was so severe that Mundonga suffered head injuries and is now admitted at Gutu Mission Hospital.
Huni appeared in court before Gutu Resident Magistrate Edwin Marecha on Monday this week.
It is the State case that on Friday last week at around 1220am, the accused waylaid Mundoga as he was on his way home from the club and started questioned the complainant about his ex-wife.
The accused who allegedly went into a rage of fury struck the complainant several times in the head with an unidentified object resulting in deep injuries being sustained.
In the process, Huni damaged spectacles of the complaint. It is understood that Huni accused the complainant of having had relationships with both of the former's two wives.
It is alleged that Mundoga had a relationship with Huni's ex-wife and then he had another relationship with another woman linked to Huni and also said to have been his wife.
Mundoga is still admitted at Gutu Mission Hospital where he is said to be battling for his life.
