Mat North areas experience power interruptions on Monday and Wednesday

The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company has announced that part of Matabeleland North will on Monday and Wednesday experience interruption of electricity supplies for the whole days as the utility is making all efforts to restore power in the areas.
In a notice the ZETDC said in order to carry out essential maintenance work at Umguza sub station and Nyamandlovu sub station, clients in the areas mentioned are advised that their electricity supplies will be interrupted on Monday October 3 from 9am to 4pm, on Wednesday 5 October at 9am to 4pm and on Friday 7 October from 9am to 4pm," reads the notice.
The areas affected are Umguza irrigation Lots,Holy Lodge Farm, Mandalay Farm, Hamara Farm, Windermere Hotel, Victoria Falls Tollgate, Denver Farm, Arda Estate, Senace Mine, Master Cecil Mine, Paddy Farm and surrounding areas.
In Nyamandlovu areas affected are Nyamandlovu Business centre, Nyamandlovu Hospital, George Silundika High School, Redbank, Sawmills NRZ, Highfields Farm, Fountain Farm, Cowstone Block, Content Farm, Rocklands Farm, Kloos Farm, Ticehurst Shops, Woodyglen Farm, Umguzaani Farm, Dovenby Farm, Secret Valley Farm and surrounding areas.
