Fraudster 'teacher' nabbed over six chickens

A 32-Year-Old Masvingo suspected moving fraudster was nabbed yesterday.
Masvingo police spokesperson Inspector Charity Mazula confirmed the case.
It is alleged Alphonse Munongori a former teacher in Gweru defrauded his former student who is currently a shopkeeper in Masvingo CBD.
Munongori took six broiler chickens and clothes on credit citing cash crises in banks but promised to pay via Ecocash the same day.
The incident happened on the 7th of October.
Munongori was sucked from the Ministry of Education but he duped the complainant saying he is a teacher at Kyle college in Gweru.
When the suspect did not meet his debt the complainant sought for him at Kyle college but was told the alleged teacher was not even known there by prompting a police report.
He was however apprehended yesterday in the CBD of Masvingo and police investigations proved he had many counts of fraud.
Meanwhile, police is urging people to be on the look out of conman and report any case of fraud soon after realizing it.
