Residents at Braeside in Harare are reported to have gone for two weeks without water at the same time they have no community boreholes.
This was revealed by the Harare Residents Trust which expressed concerns over the council's deteriorating service delivery.
"The residents have gone for two weeks without water and the community has few boreholes. Residents reported that the water at a borehole at Malta Street produces a rusty smell," said the trust.
"Senior citizens above 65 years old have reported that the council is taking time to cut of their property tax by 50%, they can no longer afford the bill charge."
