Drama at a pub as Highlanders lose to Dynamos again

There was drama at a popular open air garden pub in Gwanda shortly after Dynamos scored its second goal literally confirming yet another victory of the Harare giants over Highlanders.
Scores of expectant fans of the two traditional rivals of Zimbabwe football started settling at the pub about an hour before the match to watch it live on television.
The Highlanders supporters were the more expectant of the two sides as they felt their team had assembled a better squad than their rivals and was bound to win.
The pub was turned into a sea of black and white T-shirts and other regalia. The vuvuzela was being blown loud and Highlanders songs denouncing the Dynamos supporters were the order of the day. The fewer Dynamos fans went quiet in clear uncertainty as the confidence of the Highlanders Fans was overwhelming.
Things started going wrong for the noisy Bosso faithfuls when Dynamos scored their first goal and worse through the boot of a Bosso rejected Masimba Mambare. The goal switched on the Dynamos fans who also started singing and dancing the provocative Zora Butter Dance.
Statements like "Masimba Mambare weDe Mabare akasiana neMampara" (Masimba Mambare of Dynamos decided to part was with fools) gradually infuriated the stunned and silenced but still hopeful Bosso Fans.
All hell broke loose when Dembare as Dynamos are affectionately known scored their second goal shortly into the second half. Dynamos fans went into song and dance. One fan was heard shouting "trophy yamdhara kuenda kupi ko? KumaNd**** Hapana izvozvo" (President Mugabe's trophy going where? To the Nd***** There is nothing like that.")
The Bosso fans demanded the Multi choice Decoder remote control from the bar tender and changed the TV channel right in the middle of the match. The channel was changed to English Premier League where at that moment Liverpool was leading Manchester United by 2 goals to nil and that was also not wanted by the Bosso Fans who changed the channel to watch cycling.
This did not go down well with the Dynamos Fans who demanded the Barman to give them the remote control of which the young barman could not help as the Highlanders Fans held on to the remote control. Tribal utterances started flying between the two groups with some Highlanders Fans singing songs of serious tribal connotations.
The Dynamos Fans were ordered to leave the pub and go and watch the match elsewhere "where some of their own drink" much to the anger of the Dynamos Fans who demanded to see the manager and or owner of the pub to no avail.
The adamant Bosso Fans refused to change the channel until the Dynamos Fans left the pub. When the DJ started playing music he was also ordered to play Lovemore Majaivana and Soul Brothers music only.
The Highlanders and Dynamos rivalry is traditionally known to always have tribal divisions with the Highlanders Fans presumed to be Ndebele and Dynamos Fans Shona.
The rivalry has on several occasions led to some very violent clashes on tribal lines with some deaths being linked to the clashes.
It is hoped that the government organ on national healing will come with a solution to the tribal divides in the country which are affecting even recreational events like sport.
