Mthwakazi stay away from Harare fights
01 Aug 2018 at 12:17hrs | Views
Blood has been shed enough in Matabeleland. We can not entertain it any more. I plead with our people to refuse to take part in this Harare fight that has started. Please stay in your houses and let the people of Harare sort their mess.
As I write to you now, they are singing "Gushungo" on the streets of Harare. When we told them Mugabe was a murderer they scoffed at us. When we told them Mnangagwa was a killer, they called us tribalists. Today they will want you to join their war.
People of Mthwakazi, please let's save the lives of our children by not joining the Harare war.
I plead with you not to allow spilling of Mthwakazi blood, even a teaspoon full, for the political cause of Harare.
They don't help us to fight tribalism. They don't join us to fight PicknPay for employing people from Harare. They don't join us for demanding our king. They don't join us in fighting against marginalization.
We are aware that Zanu PF has rigged these elections and we will give direction as MRP leadership to our people, as to the next move.
Let's not join them in their war. This is not our war.
Let's remember that uBaba uJoshua Nkomo said, the war will start in Harare and end there.
