Our unsung Heroes

History usually is meant to convey the truth about our past to future generations, that's a norm world over.
History is the narration of the past as it unfolded. Museums are meant to be warehouses of our past story.
National monument are created and protected so that our children and their children continue to have original information about our national history. In the land between two big rivers it is not so,but the opposite is true.
We have lost a lot in terms of our past as a generation. I am brought as back as 1967 when the Sipolilo Battle took place, it is a battle never to be forgotten by all Zimbabweans and Southern Africa.
In South Africa it is remembered annual, and the battle is known as the Luthuli Detatchmen Battle.
In Zimbabwe its just a crime to mention it.Historians must start writing the missing truths about our struggle heroes who died in the Wankie Game Reserve fighting against the imperialists. Zipra need to be remembered for this well fought battle that liberated even Zanu PF.
We salute all our fallen heroes regardless of tribe, region and ethnicity.
