Michael the Angel of defense, security and intelligence - I seek audience with you. Our is a nation in turmoil. Violence meted upon a defenseless citizenry. Human rights violations, threats and murders of an innocent populace is now a common occurrence in my hood. Referenced upon the holy oracles, prophesized by elegant men in silky suits. Our solace we hope and trust will come from an alien world.
Papa Prophet Makandiwa and Magaya in full agreement equals prophetic confirmation. Theirs is a warning of bloodshed. A great foresee of violence. Violence meted upon the Zimbabwe people - by their government in the person of the security forces. A government fighting its defenceless citizens with the full mighty of an armour unseen in peace times reminiscent of an arsenal much yearned for in the perpetual turbulances of the Middle East.
On a peaceful day, it is news all over that an unarmed journalist Itai Dzamara is bashed. Left unconscious he is - a reminder of what befell Tandare, Ndira, Mabika, Jongwe among others. What has the seemingly jobless, poor and concerned citizen in the name of Dzamara done? Dzamara is simply waiting for his response from the powers that be on the state of the economy which is rolling on a negative exponent.
The youths of he most popular political party of our beloved and only country where we hold title have suffered the same fate for asking for jobs. Mugabe promised the 2,2 million jobs without any force or any undue force being exerted upon him. His was an insatiable desire for power at all cost. Now when held accountable for the same promises and pledge, Mugabe's immediate response had to be the use of the security forces.
Who really has the sole monopoly over the use of violence? Is violence a privilege for the few whilst us the generality of Zimbabwe succumb to this injustice? Will Mugabe kill all of us? The prophesy? To me the prophesy was misdirected if it was not a direct misinterpretation. Who should be restrained, the violent state machinery or a hopeless and desperate people. The people simply want to hold the government accountable in a peaceful manner, a right enshrined in our sacrosanct constitution.
There comes Morgan Tsvangirai - the defacto and generally accepted leader of Zimbabwe. In a manner replicating his yesteryear courage he calls for a peaceful protest. His call causes shudders in the top echelons of power. The courage, vigour, temperament and command can still be sensed. Security chiefs, government chefs and the entire regime becomes unsettled at his call. Does the man commandeer a legion, battalion, army or some unknown fighting prowess? A government living in an incessant fear of its people.
Fellow citizens, comrades, friends, churchmen, countrymen I have made a realization. SADC, AU, NATO, UN and all other international agencies are ready to help us. They are ready even to the extend of rescuing us from our much abhorred regime. The challenge is upon us - to take the first step. Lesotho, SADC quickly intervened. Libya, DRC the list is endless. All those that took the first step have been aided to achieve the goal.
I cap it lest I will be charged with banditry and insurgency.
