The MDC T South Africa Province yesterday held a memorial service in honour of fallen hero Cde Greenwich Ndanga. Cde Ndanga met his untimely demise whilst on a spiritual retreat to the West African country of Nigeria at the TB Joshua Shrine.

"Cde Ndanga joins a list of many other party luminaries who have made similar pilgrimages in search of the spiritual dimension to the plagues tormenting our nation. He was a committed family man, a man of admirable social standing, a complete democrat with all the hallmarks of a true revolutionary. A leader par excellence with the right political etiquette properly minced with utmost leadership acumen."

Cde Greenwhich was the Mashonaland West Provincial Chairperson after the former Chairman Leader Karemba has joined the roll of honour. He had been the provincial secretary and he suffered the nikuving act in the 2013 plebiscite.

Several hundreds of people from all walks of life gathered at the Central Methodist Church in Johannesburg to pay their last respects to our departed hero. Friends, the leadership of the party and the generality of Zimbabweans thronged the church auditorium to partake in the moving ceremony which was graced by Bishop Paul Verryn amongst other dignitaries. Adv Gabriel an ardent human rights Lawyer gave a moving speech as guest of honour.

Go well Cde GB!
Rest in Peace!
You have fought a good fight!
