Under fire Higher Education minister Jonathan Moyo has vowed to expose alleged corruption by rival Lacoste Zanu PF members.
Moyo claims to have impeccable evidence supplied by well-wishers.
"It would be remise of me to not acknowledge and thank many of you that have come forward with evidence and information pointing to shocking and scandalous cases of high level corruption, theft and fraud and pillaging of stage resources and assets by high ranking individuals and persons who speak against corruption during the day and practise it in staggering proportions at night thereby depriving not only current and future generations of their sources of livelihood" Moyo wrote in his lengthy statement on Monday.
"I want to assure you that I will treat this information in the strictest confidence and will bring it to the attention of the relevant authorities at the earliest opportunity for swift action".
On Monday, Moyo took to twitter to say "There's a senior politician who owns 739 gold mines all of which use smuggling as their tax-free export channel!".
Moyo would not reveal the politician.
"This ain't no media spectacle. The naming & shaming will be done thru relevant authorities as indicated in the statement issued yesterday! ".
The Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (Zacc) has accused Moyo of defrauding ZIMDEF – a department in his ministry.
Charges levelled against the Zanu PF politburo member include claims that he used ZIMDEF funds to acquire motorbikes and bicycles for the traditional leaders in his constituency.
