Highlanders FC coach Kelvin Kaindu has been admitted at Norwich in the United Kingdom to pursue his UEFA B coaching license, Zimbabwe Focus reported.
According Highlanders FC twitter and facebook account, the Zambian born coach is a few steps from acquiring the Pro certificate which is the highest coaching certificate in the world.
Reads the statement posted on Thursday morning, "HIGHLANDERS FC would like to congratulate Kelvin Kaindu for his admission at Norwich to pursue his UEFA B coaching license.
"Very few coaches in Africa have attained this level. He is just two steps away from acquiring the Pro certificate which is the highest coaching certificate in the world. We wish him well in his studies".
Bosso said Kaindu is likely to miss the Mbada Semi Fina tie if they progress on Sunday or the away game to Motor Action. However, Kaindu will be available for the biggest match of the season when Bosso takes on DSembare.
Bosso's stament read: "Many people are asking how Kaindu's admission to pursue his studies at Norwich, United Kingdom is going to affect the team. Well, we can exclusively reveal that his first training will be a week long and is slated for next month meaning he is likely to miss either the Mbada Semi Final tie (if we progress on sunday) or the away game to Motor Action. Maybe to allay certain fears, Kaindu will be around for the Dynamos game unless PSL decides to move it by a week. Lapho bayabe sebesigangele kakhulu."
Bosso, the country's second biggest football club, last won the league championship in 2006 under the guidance of former player, Methembe Ndlovu.
Highlanders have endured a lean spell since then, without a league title in the past half-a-dozen years, although they remain the country's most successful football club, on the domestic scene, since the turn of the millennium.
Bosso have won three league titles since 2000, the most by any football club in the country, with their main rivals, Dynamos and CAPS United, winning two league championships each.
In an era where the minnows have roared, Amazulu, Monomotapa, Gunners and Motor Action have all taken turns to win the league championship.
