ZIMBABWEANS have been urged to fill up Luveve Stadium tomorrow afternoon and cheer the Mighty Warriors as they take on Malawi in a crucial Cosafa Women Championship Group A encounter.

The Mighty Warriors need an outright win possibly by a huge margin to secure their passage into the semi-finals as they have four points from their first two games, the same as Zambia while Malawi are still in with a chance of scrapping through if they perform a Houdini Act and beat the hosts as they have three points.

Only the group winners and the best runners up from the three groups go through to the semifinals and the Mighty Warriors lead Group A by virtue of a superior goal difference to Zambia heading into tomorrow's deciding games.

"We need the fans to come in their numbers and cheer us up. It's going to be a difficult game but with the home support I am sure we will rise to the occasion. I haven't seen Malawi play but we will come up with a tactical plan for them," said Mighty Warriors coach Sithethelelwe 'Kwinji 15' Sibanda.

She was speaking after her side drew 1-1 with Zambia at Barbourfields Stadium yesterday.

Zimbabwe walloped Madagascar 4-0 in their opener on Wednesday while Zambia choked a 6-3 win over Malawi and are likely to hit an avalanche of goals when they play Madagascar who are already out of the tournament tomorrow.

"So far we are happy with the moral support we have been receiving from the fans and it lifted us today having gone down in the first half but the support was tremendous and we were able to rise during the second half. That support must be even more on Sunday and if they could pack Luveve Stadium to the rafters, the better for us," said Sibanda.

The games are free of charge.
